Baptism is the gateway into the Church and the first of the three Sacraments of Initiation (along with Confirmation and the Eucharist). In baptism, we are "born of water and the Spirit," we are given the ability to "walk in the newness of life," and we fulfill the command of Christ to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
We baptize infants, because baptism into Jesus Christ and adoption by God the Father is the greatest gift we have been given. We want your child to receive this saving grace now.
