Help International Communities Overcome Devastating Hunger
Communities worldwide are experiencing unprecedented and life-threatening levels of hunger and malnutrition. This weekend, we welcome Deacon John Gomez, a Catholic Relief Services Global Fellow, who will preach at St. Mary about the international portion of the U.S. Farm Bill. CRS receives significant funding from the Farm Bill to teach farmers new techniques to grow their own food.
After Mass, you will have an opportunity to join with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Relief Services in urging Congress to pass a Farm Bill that continues to efficiently and effectively addresses long term solutions to this hunger.
To access a ready-made email to send to Congress text NCCW or 677-68. You will immediately receive a message with a link to further information and an email to send to Congress.
